Eega Telugu Movie Review – Raja Mouli Movie
Banner: Varahi Chalana Chitram
Casting: Sudeep, Samantha, Nani
Producer: Sai Korrapati
Music: M.M.Keeravani
Direction: SS Rajamouli
Story : Sudeep (Sudeep) is a billionaire and women are his weakness. He always goes down the ‘wrong’ paths to achieve his goals in life. Naani (Naani) is in love with Bindu (Samantha), a sculptor. Bindu loves Naani but doesn’t reveal her feelings for him. Sudeep happens to meet Bindu and falls in love with her. But when he gets to know about her feelings for Nani, Sudeep kills him in a fit of rage. Just before his death, Naani comes to know about Bindu’s feelings for him. And he is then reborn as an Eega (housefly) – and so begins a tale of revenge.
Performances : Nani was good in his limited role. Sudeep was terrific as the bad guy. His stellar performance was one of the major plus points of the film. His screen presence will make you feel that there is no better option than him for this role. Samantha was a treat to watch. She has given a convincing performance. All others didn’t have much role to play, but everyone did fine in their respective roles. Watch out for Tagubothu Ramesh’s cameo!
Technicalities : Senthil Kumar’s cinematography is extra-ordinary and Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao has done a very good job. S Ravinder’s art work is also worth praising. MM Keeravani composed two songs for this film, but his entire work is on background score. He has given wonderful re-recording, which elevates every scene.
When it comes to direction, SS Rajamouli’s work needs no mention. Taking a small point, which he heard in his childhood, he has brought out an excellent film. The storyline and plot are perfect. The presentation is superb and the narration is extraordinary. In fact, the director himself is the hero in Eega because the housefly is a graphical object.
Final Word : Eega is one of the best films in recent times. It will be liked by kids. If you keep the logics aside, the movie will entertain you to the core. One of the rare films that has to be seen on big screen only. Go watch it!
